Art workshops in any aspect of drawing and painting are now available to small groups of students (maximum number of 6 people). The artist will also show you how to carve stone and wood or work with ceramics or mosaics.

The current rate is £30 per day, including lunch.

It is possible to book several days in a row or just one, or to come on a weekly basis.

The Studio

The views in all directions are sublime. The cottage is situated on common land with views to the east of fields of sheep and cattle and oak trees. There is forestry on the opposite slopes of Mynydd Allt-y-grug.

To the north are views of the Black Mountain National Park.

To the southwest is a view of the sea, and on clear days, Exmoor National Park on the opposite shore.

Hilary Bryanston is an experienced tutor who has been working with adults since 1978. She is currently employed by DACE of Swansea University, the WEA, and the Lifelong Learning Service.

The studio and cottage are idyllically situated on the slopes of the Gwrhyd Mountain which is 6 miles north of Pontardawe near to Swansea, Wales UK.
